2010-07-16 Wilted

It's hot. Africa hot. Like, as in, soon, Africa is going to start saying, "Man, it's hot. Florida hot."

And everything in my world is wilting in the heat.


I walked out today after a brief rain passed over the house, leaving the driveway steaming from the heat and water. When I went to take my picture, I found my lens had fogged up, leaving me with a neat-o image of my hibiscus bush.

I feel just like this flower at this time of year. Can't even hold my head up. Yowser, it's burning up out there. Stay inside, for the love of Pete.
