Looks like our little tropical storm didnt amount to much where I was...a lot of leaves and tree branches on my lawn, which amounts mostly to a big yard-work pain in my butt. But, otherwise its nothing major...
In other news, I have had to purchase all new appliances. My kitchen is a throw-back to the eighties...and these poor appliances are like little old people in a sweat shop, working for their mistress for little or no appreciation. Finally my refrigerator lost its ability to refrigerate...the microwave started making a clanging noise when left on for more than a few minutes...the dishwasher was leaving little bits of grit on my glasses...only the stove has been trooping on in fairly good health.
So when the fridge went, I finally realized I can't live with it anymore...I went about town looking for new servants and Best Buy was doing 2 years of financing with no interest, so I bought all-new stuff.
And I also bought a Wii for good measure. I love Wii-ing. Its so awesome...and I can't wait to buy all my Wii favorites and play incessantly!
