Looky what I got today...yeah, yeah, it's not a Kindle or an ipad, but I'm still excited to try this new Sony eReader. I haven't been sure about how much I like to read books on a tablet device but when I saw the low price on this one, I thought it was worth it to jump in for evaluation purposes. Started reading and it seems to be interesting, but definitely acceptable. Can't wait to travel without 10 lbs of books...

does it give a percent complete on your book? i hate not having page numbers. how's the screen on your eyes? will require a follow up post on pros and cons.
ReplyDeleteIt tells you what page of the total pages you are on. Yeah, I will spend some time with it this week and repost.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I'm loving mine. It's so nice to have just one small gadget with all my books on it. At first, it was a little strange reading on it, but I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me at all now. I also like that we can increase the font size (especially at the end of the day, when my eyes are tired from staring at the computer screen). All in all, I'm VERY happy with mine!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've done a little reading, but am trying to finish a couple of audiobooks I was in the middle of so that I can read more. When you go the next page, is it sort of jumpy/flashy...I didn't expect that.
