A shocker

Hey, I forgot to mention I won something! I was very honored to receive the President's Award for my local volunteer organization. Needless to say I was pretty floored considering all the great women in my group! Made me feel really nice though. Here I am receiving my award with the outgoing President, Angela, and the incoming President, Anne.

Mommies--Don'tcha Just Love 'Em?

We had a nice Mother's Day on Sunday. Got the whole family together at my sister's house and ate some lovely paella.

It was pretty good. We ordered is from some Spanish people that have a bakery in West Palm Beach. I like it when there's some chicken in there also, but this one was strictly seafood.

Also we made some plans for Memorial Day. Looks like we're going to try to rent a house at the beach. I hope we can do it because I haven't done that in soooooo long and I would love to spend a few days in the ocean and in the sun.

But generally, it was nice to spend time with my mommy and the family.
